Chi Omega at South Dakota State University is in partnership with Make-A-Wish South Dakota to support the organization in multiple ways and have the ability to grant wishes each year for local children across the state. One of Chi Omega’s six purposes is community service, because we understand it is part of the foundation toward a fulfilled life for oneself and the community.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. For more information about Make-A-Wish and their amazing work, please visit their website at southdakota.wish.org.

 

Through Chi Omega members volunteering time, talent, and money, wishes have been granted all over the country. Since the beginning, Chi Omega members have contributed over 1,000,000,000 hours of volunteering and $17 million nationally.We host multiple events throughout the school year to support our philanthropic mission. Chi Omega at SDSU raised more than $10,000 for Make-A-Wish during the 2016-17 academic year.
